MPLS SD Edu Global: Mengusung Tema Wayang dan Menggaet Zoomanji Dago Dreampark

Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) di SD Edu Global Bandung berlangsung dengan penuh antusias dari peserta didik. Setelah menikmati liburan panjang, peserta didik kembali ke sekolah dengan semangat baru untuk memulai tahun ajaran yang penuh dengan pengalaman dan pembelajaran baru. Kegiatan MPLS ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan peserta didik pada lingkungan sekolah, fasilitas yang tersedia, serta guru-guru yang akan mendampingi mereka dalam proses belajar mengajar. MPLS di SD Edu Global Bandung diikuti oleh seluruh peserta didik dari kelas satu hingga kelas enam dan dilaksanakan selama lima hari, mulai dari Senin, 15 Juli 2024 hingga Jumat, 19 Juli 2024.

Uniknya, MPLS tahun ini mengusung tema wayang dengan tema "Our Beloved Culture: Journey Through Wayang." Tema ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan melestarikan budaya wayang kepada peserta didik. Selain itu, tokoh-tokoh wayang yang diangkat diharapkan dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Setiap kelas mengangkat kisah atau tokoh wayang yang berbeda-beda. Mereka diberikan misi untuk membuat yel-yel serta mendekorasi kelas sesuai dengan kisah atau tokoh wayang yang telah ditentukan. Beberapa kisah wayang yang diangkat antara lain Calonarang, Gatotkaca Lahir, Jayapusaka, Ramayana, Ajinarantaka, dan lainnya.

Rangkaian Kegiatan MPLS

Setiap harinya, MPLS di SD Edu Global Bandung menghadirkan berbagai kegiatan menarik, antara lain:

  • Hari Pertama: Pembukaan MPLS oleh Kepala Sekolah dan guru-guru, dilanjutkan dengan senam pagi atau ice breaking, fun games, bonding antara peserta didik dan homeroom teacher, serta school tour untuk mengenal lingkungan sekolah lebih dekat.

  • Hari Kedua hingga Keempat: Peserta didik menampilkan yel-yel antar kelas, menyaksikan penampilan dari berbagai klub dan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di SD Edu Global Bandung, serta mendengarkan kisah wayang yang diceritakan oleh homeroom teacher masing-masing.

  • Asesmen Peserta Didik: Guru melakukan asesmen awal untuk mengetahui kemampuan akademik, sosial, bahasa, emosi, kemandirian, serta aspek motorik peserta didik. Asesmen ini penting untuk membantu guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing peserta didik, sejalan dengan pendekatan “Personal Touch” yang menjadi keunggulan SD Edu Global Bandung.

Penutupan dan Penghargaan Yel-Yel Antar Kelas

Sebagai bentuk apresiasi terhadap kreativitas peserta didik, MPLS ditutup dengan pengumuman kategori yel-yel terbaik berdasarkan kisah wayang yang diangkat. Selain itu, kegiataBerikut adalah pemenang dalam berbagai kategori:

  1. Terheboh – Kelas 4A

  2. Terkeren – Kelas 2A

  3. Terinspiratif – Kelas 3B

  4. Terkreatif – Kelas 5

  5. Terunik – Kelas 2B

  6. Tersemangat – Kelas 4B

  7. Terlucu – Kelas 1

  8. Terenergik – Kelas 3A

  9. Termeriah – Kelas 6

Kegiatan MPLS di SD Edu Global Bandung tahun ini telah memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi peserta didik. Tidak hanya mengenal lingkungan sekolah, tetapi juga belajar tentang budaya wayang yang kaya akan nilai-nilai kehidupan. Selain itu, peserta didik juga mendapat kesempatan untuk berinteraksi langsung dengan beberapa hewan yang didatangkan dari Dago Dream Park Zoomanji Bandung. Hewan-hewan seperti ular, landak, kelinci, dan lainnya hadir untuk memberikan pengalaman edukatif bagi peserta didik, dengan pendampingan dari pihak Zoomanji.

Semangat dan antusiasme yang ditunjukkan oleh peserta didik sepanjang kegiatan MPLS menjadi awal yang baik untuk perjalanan akademik mereka di tahun ajaran ini. Diharapkan semangat ini terus terjaga, sehingga mereka dapat menjalani pembelajaran dengan penuh rasa ingin tahu dan kegembiraan. Sampai jumpa di petualangan belajar berikutnya!
