Club Sains di SD Edu Global School Bandung: Mengembangkan Rasa Ingin Tahu dan Kreativitas

 



Setiap hari Rabu, SD Edu Global School Bandung mengadakan kegiatan yang sangat dinanti-nantikan oleh para siswa, yaitu Club Sains. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk menggali potensi anak-anak dalam bidang ilmu 

pengetahuan serta menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi terhadap dunia sains. Dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan interaktif, Club Sains menjadi salah satu program unggulan sekolah ini.

Tujuan Club Sains


Club Sains bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan konsep-konsep sains dengan cara yang mudah dipahami dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk:

  • Mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa.

  • Meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap fenomena alam dan teknologi.

  • Membantu siswa belajar melalui eksperimen langsung.

  • Membina kerja sama tim dan komunikasi antar siswa.

Kegiatan Seru Setiap Minggu

Setiap pertemuan Club Sains selalu dipenuhi dengan berbagai aktivitas menarik yang membuat siswa semakin antusias. Beberapa kegiatan yang biasa dilakukan meliputi:

  • Eksperimen Sains: Siswa diajak untuk melakukan eksperimen sederhana seperti membuat lava lamp, uji coba reaksi kimia sederhana, hingga percobaan fisika yang melibatkan gerakan dan energi.

  • Proyek Mini: Siswa membuat proyek kecil seperti robot sederhana atau alat peraga sains dari bahan-bahan yang mudah ditemukan.

  • Observasi Alam: Kegiatan ini memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar langsung dari alam sekitar, seperti mengamati pertumbuhan tanaman atau mempelajari ekosistem mini.

  • Diskusi Ilmiah: Guru dan siswa berdiskusi bersama untuk memahami hasil eksperimen dan konsep-konsep ilmiah di baliknya.

Manfaat yang Diperoleh

Kegiatan Club Sains memberikan berbagai manfaat positif bagi siswa, di antaranya:

  • Meningkatkan Pemahaman Sains: Dengan belajar melalui praktik langsung, siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami konsep-konsep sains.

  • Meningkatkan Rasa Percaya Diri: Siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam menyampaikan ide dan hasil eksperimen mereka.

  • Membina Kerja Sama: Siswa belajar untuk bekerja sama dalam tim untuk menyelesaikan proyek dan eksperimen.

  • Meningkatkan Kreativitas: Kegiatan yang variatif mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan menemukan solusi inovatif.

Antusiasme Siswa dan Dukungan Sekolah

Antusiasme siswa terhadap Club Sains sangat tinggi. Setiap minggunya, mereka tidak sabar untuk mengikuti kegiatan yang penuh tantangan dan kejutan. Pihak sekolah juga sangat mendukung kegiatan ini dengan menyediakan fasilitas dan bahan eksperimen yang memadai serta tenaga pengajar yang kompeten.

Dengan adanya Club Sains di SD Edu Global School Bandung, siswa tidak hanya belajar sains, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan penting yang akan berguna di masa depan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa belajar sains bisa menjadi pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan inspiratif. Semoga Club Sains terus berkembang dan menjadi wadah bagi siswa untuk mengeksplorasi dunia ilmu pengetahuan dengan penuh semangat.

"Menyekolahkan anak di EGS itu keputusan kami yg paling tepat dan sesuai dgn visi parenting kami. Kurikulum EGS tidak hanya fokus pada akademik tapi juga talent dan pemahaman agama anak. Metode belajar project based learning membuat anak mampu untuk berpikir kritis, kreatif dan mengasah kemampuan kolaborasi. Assembly di akhir tahun juga membuat anak"dapat berkolaborasi dengan semua grade di sekolah. Hal ini membuat sekolah menjadi lingkungan yg hangat dan nyaman buat anak mengeksplorasi diri. Program keputrian juga selalu diisi dengan aktivitas seru cooking class, crafting dan pengetahuan anak soal merawat diri dan persiapan menghadapi pubertas. Komunikasi orang tua dan sekolah juga terjalin dengan baik, komite sekolah (parents club) berperan positif untuk kemajuan siswa. Ga ada biaya ini itu selama semester karena sudah tercover dengan uang tahunan. Mulai dari alat bahan project, keputrian dan kegiatan lain. Menurut kami nyekolahin anak di EGS ITU NO DRAMA, anak happy parents happy. "
