To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia’s
Independence Day. SD Edu Global Bandung held a flag-raising ceremony on August
17 2025. The ceremony, which began at 8:00 AM was solemnly conducted on the
school field and attended by all students, teachers, and school staff.
As the ceremony's supervisor, the Principal, Mrs. Seli Pusfita, S. Si (Head of Principal) delivered a speech about the importance of honoring the heroes who fought for Indonesia’s independence. She also encouraged all students to study diligently and become future generations who love their country — as a way of continuing the nation's struggle for independence in the present day.
The ceremony officers were students from grades 4, 5,
and 6 who had trained for two weeks beforehand. They carried out their duties
well from raising the Red and White flag, reading the Proclamation text, to
singing national anthems such as "Indonesia Raya" and "Hari
Merdeka."
Through this event, it is expected that students can
better understand the meaning of independence and develop a sense of
nationalism from an early age. The ceremony ended with a communal prayer and a
shared spirit to continue commemorating Independence Day with positive actions
both at school and at home.
