Peran Penilaian Sumatif dalam mengukur Ketercapaian Kompetensi Peserta Didik



Penilaian merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam rangka mengukur pencapaian pembelajaran peserta didik, SD Edu Global secara rutin melaksanakan kegiatan Pekan Sumatif.  Pekan Sumatif merupakan agenda sekolah yang dijadwalkan khusus untuk pelaksanaan Penilaian Sumatif per Topik. Berbeda dengan penilaian harian yang dilakukan secara fleksibel di kelas, pada Pekan Sumatif seluruh mata pelajaran melaksanakan penilaian secara bersamaan sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan proses evaluasi dapat berjalan tertib, terukur, dan memberikan gambaran yang objektif tentang kemampuan belajar siswa.

Pelaksanaan Penilaian Sumatif memiliki beberapa tujuan utama, antara lain:

  1. Mengukur Ketercapaian Kompetensi
    Mengetahui sejauh mana peserta didik telah menguasai materi yang telah diajarkan.
  2. Penetapan Nilai dan Pelaporan 
    Hasil Penilaian Sumatif menjadi salah satu dasar dalam penentuan nilai pada rapor pendidikan.
  3. Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran 
    Sebagai bahan refleksi bagi pendidik dan satuan pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran.
  4. Pengambilan Keputusan Pendidikan
    Hasil sumatif dapat digunakan untuk menentukan program remedial, pengayaan, kenaikan kelas, maupun kelulusan.

    Untuk mengakomodasi berbagai aspek kemampuan berpikir peserta didik, bentuk soal pada Pekan Sumatif di SD Edu Global dirancang bervariasi. Komposisinya meliputi:

1.   Pilihan Ganda / PG, digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep dasar dan kemampuan mengingat fakta.

2.  Pilihan Ganda Kompleks / PGK , siswa diminta memilih lebih dari satu jawaban yang benar. Bentuk ini mengukur kemampuan analisis terhadap beberapa pernyataan.

3.  Benar-Salah / Menjodohkan , digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman hubungan antar konsep dan ketepatan peserta didik dalam membedakan informasi yang benar dan salah.

4.  Uraian, mengukur kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengorganisasi jawaban, menjelaskan konsep, dan menuangkan ide secara tertulis.

5.  Essay HOTS / Higher Order Thinking Skills, soal essay dengan level berpikir C4-C6: menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta. Bentuk ini bertujuan melatih peserta didik berpikir kritis, memecahkan masalah, dan mengaitkan materi dengan konteks nyata.

Dengan variasi tersebut, penilaian tidak hanya mengukur aspek kognitif hafalan, tetapi juga keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Melalui Pekan Sumatif, SD Edu Global berkomitmen untuk menyelenggarakan evaluasi yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada nilai, tetapi juga pada proses pembentukan karakter disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kejujuran akademik peserta didik.

Kami mengajak seluruh siswa untuk mempersiapkan diri dengan sebaik-baiknya, dan orang tua untuk memberikan dukungan agar Pekan Sumatif dapat berjalan lancar dan memberikan hasil yang optimal. Mari belajar dengan sungguh-sungguh. Hasil terbaik adalah hasil dari usaha terbaik.

"Menyekolahkan anak di EGS itu keputusan kami yg paling tepat dan sesuai dgn visi parenting kami. Kurikulum EGS tidak hanya fokus pada akademik tapi juga talent dan pemahaman agama anak.
